The 2,600 square feet on 1.42 acres in Spring Branch got the same treatment every Hearthside home gets: the best material for each application, not the acceptable one. The floor plan was designed around how people actually live in a Hill Country home — room to spread out, a covered outdoor space that earns its square footage, a kitchen built for use rather than resale photography. There was no one to answer to on this one except the standard. We answered to it anyway.
